Blue Zones Project® – Brevard is leading a community well-being transformation initiative where healthier choices become easier choices for everyone by focusing on people, places, and policy. Blue Zones Project brings together local stakeholders and well-being experts to engage people through Walking Moais®, cooking classes, and purpose workshops; to support places and organizations (schools, worksites, restaurants, and grocery stores); and to strengthen local policy that promotes healthier choices related to our built environment, food and nutrition, and tobacco. Our work is evidence-based and, collaborating with Boston University, we seek to measure health and well-being improvements over time.
Powered by the Pisgah Health Foundation, Blue Zones Project is working with the people of Brevard to create a better community in which to live, learn, work, and play. Join us and help transform Brevard’s well-being!
